1988 - Society of American Magicians' Hall of Fame Scholarship Award
1991 - The Milbourne Christopher Foundation Award for notable contributions to the art of magic in keeping with his performing and writing tradition
1994 - Elected to the Society of American Magicians' Hall of Fame
1996 - Honored by the New England Magic Collectors' Association

The sold-out event was held at the restored 1600-seat theater of the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, California, originally built in 1927 as the flagship movie palace for United Artists.
2023 - The Magic Circle, founded in London in 1905, awarded the JN Maskelyne prize on August 31 for noteworthy contributions to the art or literature of magic.
