As a boy, William Rauscher was inspired by a Gilbert Mysto Magic Set, then, after seeing magicians Edd Patterson, Blackstone Sr., and John Calvert, he pursued his love for the art by performing magic and writing many books and manscripts on the subject for over 50 years.
